Fan Zone Information

Dates: June 11 – July 19

The Seattle Center will transform into a vibrant hub for soccer enthusiasts during the FIFA World Cup 2026, hosting the "LET'S PLAY SEA '26 – World Soccer Fan Celebration" from June 11 through July 19. This free and family-friendly fan zone promises a diverse range of events, activities, and amenities for visitors.

Events and Activities:

The celebration at Seattle Center will offer daily FIFA-authorized public viewing experiences for over 60 tournament matches.

• Match Viewing:
• Armory Food & Event Hall: This will serve as the primary indoor headquarters and daily public viewing venue, offering large-screen match viewing, food and beverage options, a Global Marketplace, family activities, art installations, and cultural programming.
• Mural Amphitheatre: Signature outdoor "World Soccer Watch Parties" will be held here on select match days, creating a festival atmosphere with large-format viewing, live DJs, entertainment, cultural performances, and a beer garden. Featured watch party dates include June 15, 19, 24, 25, 26, and July 1, 4, 6.
• KEXP Gathering Space: This will provide a secondary community viewing location with a focus on music and arts.
• International Fountain: Expect DJs and artists from Seattle and around the world to activate this public space.
• Cultural Festivals & Major Events: The fan zone will integrate various cultural celebrations:
• Indigenous People Festival (June 13)
• Washington Brewers Festival (June 13)
• K-Pop Fest (June 18)
• PrideFest 2026 (June 28)
• Polish Festival Seattle (July 11)
• BLASTFEST 2026 (July 18)
• Additional major events include the Mundo Catrina Opening Day Procession (June 11), World's Game Weekend at MoPOP (June 12-13), Visit Seattle Drone Shows (June 15, June 24), INSOMNIAC presents Tiesto (June 19), and Seattle Center Classical (July 5).
• Fitness & Interactive Activities:
• Unity Loop with a Virtual 5K Experience: Participants can run or walk 3.1 miles at their leisure between May 16 and July 15, exploring Seattle's new Unity Loop.
• Summer Fitness - Workout Wednesdays: Free outdoor Yoga, Zumba®, and Pilates Mat classes will be offered each Wednesday from June 17 to August 26.
• Armory Workshop Series: Hands-on experiences connecting sport, culture, creativity, and learning, including screenprinting, Soccer Science, STEM activities, and soccer craft workshops.
• Global Marketplace: Local businesses, artists, makers, and food vendors will be featured inside the Armory Food & Event Hall and outdoors on Thomas Street from June 11 to July 7, and again on July 14, 15, 18, and 19.
• Art, Culture & Community: The campus will host temporary public art and cultural installations, including a "Traditions" exhibit in the International Fountain Pavilion, and self-guided Art Tours and Sculpture Walks.

Visitor Guide:

• Admission: All fan experiences at Seattle Center are free and open to the public.
• Seating: Seating in the Armory is first-come, first-served. For outdoor viewing at the Mural Amphitheatre, low-back chairs, blankets, and bean bags are recommended. Tall chairs, large bags, coolers, umbrellas, and recording devices are not permitted.
• Food and Beverages: Food and beverages will be available from merchants within the Seattle Center Armory and from the vendor marketplace. Alcohol must be purchased and consumed within licensed service areas.
• Pets: Pets are not allowed within the fan zone.
• Accessibility: Seattle Center aims to provide accessible experiences throughout "LET'S PLAY SEA '26." More detailed accessibility information can be found on the Seattle Center website's "Getting Here & Visitor Info" section.
• Getting Around Seattle:
• Public Transportation: The Link light rail, with stops at Stadium Station and International District/Chinatown Station, is a convenient option for reaching venues. Extensive local bus services are also available. Purchasing an ORCA card is recommended for regular transit use.
• Free Shuttle Service: Seattle is launching a free shuttle service running every 15 minutes (every 10 minutes on match days) from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily through September 7. This shuttle will connect major downtown destinations, including Seattle Center, the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Waterfront Park, and Lumen Field.
• Walkability: Seattle is a relatively walkable city, especially in the downtown core where many World Cup events will take place.
• Visitor App: Download the free "SEA&WIN App" launched by the Seattle World Cup Host Committee. It allows users to check in at local businesses and landmarks, play trivia, and win prizes, including World Cup match tickets.
• Weather: Expect mild-to-warm temperatures in June and July, with average daytime highs of 71–76°F (22–24°C) and nighttime lows of 54–58°F (12–14°C). Light rainfall is possible, so a light rain jacket is advisable for evenings.
