Rockefeller Center in Manhattan, NY, will host the official NYNJ World Cup 26 & Telemundo Fan Village for the FIFA World Cup 2026, focusing on the knockout stages of the tournament. This fan zone will offer a vibrant experience for soccer enthusiasts with a variety of events, activities, and amenities.

Dates and Hours:

The fan village will operate from July 6 to July 19, 2026. On most match days, it will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and on other days, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Location and Entry:

The fan village will take over the entire three-block Rockefeller Center campus, located at 45 Rockefeller Plaza, Midtown Manhattan. General entry for live match broadcasts and viewing is free and open to the public; no ticket is required. However, some specific programming, such as clinics and movie nights, may require advance registration due to limited capacity.

Events and Activities:

• The Pitch: The iconic Rockefeller Rink will be transformed into a playable soccer pitch, surrounded by jumbo 26-foot LED screens for live match viewing. Telemundo will provide Spanish-language commentary and pre- and post-match coverage.
• FIFA Museum Presented by Hyundai: Located at 50 Rockefeller Plaza, this free exhibition, "Legacies of Champions," will run from June 11 to July 19, 2026. It will feature original objects from nearly a century of the tournament, including gear from legends like Pelé, Ronaldo, and Messi, as well as the historic Jules Rimet Trophy. A "48 Teams. One Prize." wall of national jerseys and a cinematic room called "The Final" will also be part of the exhibit. Reservations for time slots are recommended, but walk-ins are also accepted.
• Official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Store: Situated at 45 Rockefeller Plaza on 51st Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, the store will offer team jerseys, New York New Jersey host-city apparel, scarves, hats, and other accessories.
• The Champions' Garden: The Channel Gardens will be transformed into a tribute to the eight nations that have won the FIFA World Cup trophy.
• Fan Zones and Interactive Experiences: The Plaza will feature an interactive festival with sponsor activations, cultural programming reflecting the global spirit of the tournament and NYC's diversity, potential meet-and-greets with soccer legends, and various street food and vendors.
• Clinics and Workshops: Free clinics with professional coaches will be offered, along with movie nights and workshops. Advance registration is recommended due to limited capacity.
• Top of the Rock Observation Deck: Through July 19, visitors can extend their fan village experience to the Top of the Rock, which will offer live match viewing, exclusive FIFA Store savings, photo opportunities, and giveaways from 70 floors above Manhattan. A Top of the Rock + FIFA Museum combo ticket will be available.

Visitor Guide and Tips:

• Getting There: Rockefeller Center is easily accessible by subway. The B, D, F, and M trains stop directly at the 47th-50th Streets/Rockefeller Center station. The 1 train to 50th Street or the 6 train to 51st Street are also nearby options. It is also within walking distance from other major Midtown attractions like Times Square, Central Park, and St. Patrick's Cathedral.
• Accessibility: The fan village is ADA accessible.
• Registration: While general entry is free, be sure to register in advance for any specific clinics, movie nights, or workshops you wish to attend, as these have limited capacity and fill up quickly.
• Nearby Attractions: Beyond the fan village activities, Rockefeller Center itself offers other attractions like the Prometheus statue, the Atlas statue, and various Art Deco architecture and murals. The area also has numerous shops and restaurants, with varying operating hours.
• Other Fan Zones: While Rockefeller Center is a flagship Manhattan fan experience, other official fan zones will be set up across the boroughs and in New Jersey, including the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens (June 11-27), Emily Roebling Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park (June 13-July 19), Bronx Terminal Market (June 13-14), SIUH Community Park in Staten Island (June 29-July 2), and the Jersey Fan Hub at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ (full tournament). The FIFA Fan Festival at Liberty State Park was cancelled, but the Telemundo Fan Village at Rockefeller Center and Fan Zone Queens at Louis Armstrong Stadium are confirmed FIFA-branded fan festivals in the region.
• The Final: While Rockefeller Center is a major hub, the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final will be held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. There will also be a large indoor FIFA World Cup™ Final Watch Party at Fanatics Fest NYC at the Javits Center from July 16-19.
