Overpeck County Park in Leonia, Bergen County, New Jersey, will host a FIFA World Cup 2026 fan zone event as part of the "GOYA Presents Flag Cities 2026" series. This immersive fan festival is scheduled for Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 11 AM to 7 PM.
Events and Activities:
The day-long celebration at Overpeck County Park will offer a variety of activities for all ages. Attendees can expect:
- Live Match Broadcasts: Games will be shown on large LED screens, including Germany vs. Curacao at 1 PM EST and Netherlands vs. Japan at 4 PM EST.
- Food and Beverages: There will be international food vendors, food trucks, and beer gardens.
- Entertainment: Enjoy DJs, live music, and cultural entertainment. The soft-rock tribute band The Royal Scam is scheduled to perform.
- Family-Friendly Activities: The festival will include family-friendly kids' zones, soccer clinics, games, and skills activities.
- Shopping: Artisan vendors and merchandise booths will be present.
- Cultural Celebrations: The event will feature cultural celebrations inspired by the teams playing in the tournament, with each Flag City festival uniquely themed.
The event at Overpeck County Park is strategically scheduled two days before the France vs. Senegal match at MetLife Stadium on June 16, 2026.

- Tickets: Tickets for the fan festival are currently available online.
- Security: Security screenings, including bag inspections and magnetometer checks, will be required for entry.
- Seating: Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for the musical performances.
- Transportation:
- Parking: Parking at Overpeck County Park will be limited. Attendees are strongly encouraged to use the complimentary off-site parking and shuttle service available from 40 Fort Lee Road in Leonia.
- Public Transit: NJ TRANSIT bus routes also service the surrounding area.
- Rideshare: Rideshare services are encouraged.
This event is one of several large-scale fan festivals across Northern New Jersey, including other "Flag Cities" events in Jersey City, Secaucus, Newark, East Rutherford, Bayonne, and Paterson. New Jersey is set to host eight FIFA World Cup matches at MetLife Stadium (temporarily renamed New York New Jersey Stadium), with the final match taking place there on July 19, 2026.
