Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Georgia, will serve as the official FIFA Fan Festival™ Atlanta for the FIFA World Cup 2026, transforming the iconic public space into a vibrant hub for soccer fans from June 11 to July 15, 2026. This celebration marks a full-circle moment for the park, 30 years after it hosted the 1996 Summer Olympics.
Operating Dates and Entry:
The FIFA Fan Festival™ will be active for 18 specific days during the tournament window, from June 11 to July 15, 2026. While general entry to the festival is free, fans must pre-register online for a digital ticket through the official Atlanta host committee portal. There will be a rolling daily capacity cap of 15,000 people.
Ticket Upgrades:
For those seeking an enhanced experience, optional paid upgrades are available:
- GA+ Fast-Track Pass: Costs $45 (or $65 on Atlanta match days) and provides access to a private bar and main-stage viewing areas.
- VIP Lounge Access/Hospitality Suites: Priced between $225 (off-peak) and $325 (peak), this option includes an elevated outdoor viewing deck, a welcome drink, private bathrooms, and wristbands for three drinks and food station visits.
- Suite Package: A premium option costing $10,000 for 25 passes for a day, offering serviced food, a drinks package, private climate-controlled suites, and access to an elevated viewing deck for the park's largest screen.
Events and Activities:
The 22-acre park will be divided into four functional zones, offering a diverse range of activities:
- Main Stage: The focal point featuring live match broadcasts on a 50-foot jumbotron screen, scheduled concerts, and other events.
- The Pitch: Dedicated to community sports programming, podcasts, and virtual reality displays.
- Kids Zone (The Playground): Offers mini-soccer pitches and interactive sports clinics for children, along with activations and games for younger fans.
- Culinary & Art District (Georgia Street): A market showcasing regional food vendors, local artists, and makers.
The first lineup of artists announced to perform includes Davido, CeeLo Green, Kat Graham, Hero the Band, Nappy Roots, and Gente de Noche, among others. Soccer podcast sensations Men in Blazers will also record live shows.
Visitor Guide:
- Location: Centennial Olympic Park is situated in downtown Atlanta, surrounded by major attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights.
- Hours of Operation: The park is generally open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Fountain of Rings: The iconic Fountain of Rings will continue its daily shows at 12:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 9:00 p.m.
- Transportation: Public transportation, such as MARTA, is recommended to reach the park, though plenty of paid parking options are available nearby. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport will also have an updated Plane Train and new concessions for attendees.
- Prohibited Items: Alcoholic beverages, glass containers, motorized vehicles, electric scooters/bikes, and skateboards are not allowed in the park. A clear bag policy will be enforced at all entrance checkpoints.
- Nearby Attractions & Dining: Visitors can explore nearby attractions like the SkyView Atlanta Ferris wheel, the Children's Museum of Atlanta, and the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame. Downtown Atlanta offers nearly 300 dining options.
- Other Fan Activities in Atlanta: Beyond Centennial Olympic Park, Atlanta will host other World Cup celebrations, including a massive, free public watch party for the World Cup Final at Piedmont Park on July 19, 2026. South Downtown's Founder's Green will host localized match watch parties. The Old Fourth Ward neighborhood will have a three-day festival from June 11-13, 2026, and Decatur will host "Decatur WatchFest '26" with daily outdoor screenings and live music.
